Kelsch Joins the Insurance Department

BISMARCK, N.D. – Ashley Kelsch has recently joined the North Dakota Insurance Department as the Public Information Officer. Kelsch previously served as Communications for Governor Jack Dalrymple.
 
Kelsch will be responsible for providing media and public relations services, developing promotional campaigns for new projects and services, planning and coordinating special events, performing research and analysis of industry data, along with maintaining the department website and social media.
 
Originally from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Kelsch moved to Mandan after earning a bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of North Dakota and a master of fine arts in creative writing from Minnesota State University-Mankato (MSU-Mankato). While attending graduate school, Kelsch’s book chronicling the history of fraternities and sororities on the MSU-Mankato campus, Our Chapters: Celebrating 50 Years of Leadership, Scholarship, Service and Friendship, was published.
 
When she isn’t traveling with her husband, Alex, Kelsch enjoys exercising, reading, cooking, going to concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
