The North Dakota Insurance Department is committed to transparency. We invite the public to participate in public meetings and hearings that impact North Dakota's insurance industry.
Hearings are legal proceedings in which regulated entities appear before the Insurance Commissioner seeking approval to proceed with an action as the law requires. Hearings are also utilized during rulemaking and other activities where state law requires a public hearing.
Meetings include advisory committees, boards of directors, task forces or other meetings of public interest that the Department facilitates.
