Continuing education (CE) providers in North Dakota can renew from Jan. 1-March 31.

Continuing education (CE) courses renew annually by March 1 of every year. There is no fee to renew courses. All correspondence with providers is done by email. An email notification goes out to all providers in November/December indicating your renewal listing will be available beginning Jan. 1. You must mark your courses as renewed by March 31 or they will be canceled.

North Dakota no longer approves instructors. It is the coordinator’s responsibility to make sure instructors meet the minimum qualifications.

Providers have the ability to make all changes to their own information by logging into the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) State Based Systems (SBS). This includes changes to addresses, email addresses and coordinator/contact information.
